What would compel a prosecutor to break court precedence over evidence handling? Did they stipulate in the plea agreement that the Kandiyohi County District Attorney must balldoguard the bodycam footage with their life?

There is a level of arrogance that comes from being the most important people in a place that isn't important at all. All of these people can swing their dicks around pretty freely in their county and get away with a whole lot normally that they shouldn't be able to get away with.

The way things generally work is that only people with money and resources can challenge them. And all the people in the county with money and resources are all their friends. But when their nonsense starts to involve the legal community in the state outside of their county kingdom and the state courts above them,, they can end up being put in their place sometimes.

Everything they just did looks and smells bad. Really bad. Almost corrupt. You have the sheriff, the DA and the judge all racing around the courthouse trying to rewrite paperwork to retroactively override the decisions of another court. They should know better than to be doing stuff like that. And why? To keep a drug addict and cuck on felony probation from being embarrassed over the state of his trap house.

This being Minnesota, they still might get away with it. Stranger things and worst acts of injustice have happened there. But they are really going out on a limb here for a guy who in absolutely no way whatsoever deserves it.

The other stupid thing with regard to all the people involved is that they are elected. Fighting lawsuits in court with county money to protect the privacy of a drug addict is one of the ways people in a county like can create a situation where they can get voted out of office.

Late and gay.

I see he's as professional about streaming as he was pretending to practice law.
Honestly the women were retarded for literally going the second court opened.
How would later be better?

What's the odds that they move at light speed to delete the body cam footage since it's conveniently "no longer" "evidence"?

There is an obvious necessity for an order to preserve this footage as the evidence that it very obviously is in any action moving forward, because I wouldn't put it past them to destroy evidence.
There are retention periods applicable to uploaded but not admitted items, per the MNDES guidance I linked yesterday. I did not see info on what those are, but the site states there is one.

Can't, Federal laws require to keep records of all bodycams, recordings and etc for DOJ up to 10 years.
Good info - do you have a cite?

The "Thankyou!" Typo really just sums up what a shitshow this all is.
Real “panic stations” vibe huh.

This is wild. I hate the setback but I love the writing and pacing.

I’ll love you forever if you cite George Floyd in your response to this. Imagine, Minnesota police are already heavily under speculation for their poor response to the fentanyl Floyd speculation. Who’s to say that they didn’t violate Nicky’s rights during his arrest?

Now they are trying to hide their malfeasance by bullying the defense in agreeing not to release the footage after they’ve already sentenced him. Minnesota police killed Floyd, who’s to say they ain’t keeping another nigga down?

GENIUS

Forgot to put the "not" in there. Post was corrected. They should have camped out and got in the second they could. Unless they needed an appointment.

Friendly reminder that the entire saga is a no lose situation!
I know some of us are disappointed that obtaining the bodycam is ever tumultuous, however, I ask you to consider that every day with the bodycam looming is another day where Nick is reliant on Nitrous to stay awake for an hour.
We will see this footage, no doubt most of us will outlive him given his current habits...
STAND FIRM KIWIS.

The county has decided to refuse to follow through in releasing evidence and has gone even further to proclaim that it ISN'T evidence, so it no longer is viewable, which until literally this morning it was.
I am of the belief that the county/prosecutor has looked at this thread and concluded that "This footage can not come out."
Who's to say that the sheriff's office hasn't already deleted the footage?
Who's to say that the county's judicial system hasn't already made this a giant formality/runaround for Null, only to have it denied at the end?

I've waited a year to see the video and I can wait another. The setback bugged me ten minutes ago when I learned of it, but I've already moved on to gleeful anticipation of what's to come.

This isn't even going to work out. We will just double down and document a lot more. It only makes the eventual release of the bodycam footage ever so sweeter.
Him being on probation and back to streaming didn't kill the thread. The thread was dead when he was doing nothing.

Didn't Karl Jobst say that too? And we know how that ended up.

Does this mean a future judge can overrule this, maybe after they changed their decision or believe it should have been released?

I dunno, maybe there was a line out on the table and a cop snorted it. Nick wouldn't call them on it because he'd have to admit there were lines on the table.
I really wonder what the state is trying to hide. Are they trying to protect someone? This is becoming a horseshoe? Did the cop really dose the child?
So many questions. So few answers. If only the public can make a better judgement.

- I want everything about that house on the Internet NOW NOW NOW
- welll, pardon us, mr Gucci loafers

I think pictures would be enough. Make it in this style:

It will convey what's important while still not pretending to be actual bodycam with all the details. It will excuse small incosistencies, etc. It will be a little bit more suggestive than literal.
Ok, that's it. I'm starting PROJECT CANDY YOSHI.

I can prepare all the pictures based on the testimony and edit it into a video (or leave it to @Third World Aristocrat ). If someone could generate AI voice from text that would be great.

Release it all Null and we'll take care of it.

Six months ago a normie relative of mine asked if I heard, "Of this internet lawyer? Apparently he is a polygamist and gives his kids cocaine." No matter what happens it's already over for Nick. That's the normie view of him.

The county has chosen war and war they shall have. The Farms will have its due and our dearest Sneeder is coming in fierce tempest as I warned earlier!

Therefore, my Kiwis, omit no happy hour that may give furtherance to our expedition. For we now have no thought in us but the Footage, save those to God that run before our business.
Therefore, let every Kiwi now task their thought that this fair action may on foot be brought!
"I ask you: Do you want total retard war?! Do you want it, if necessary, more total and sneedical than anything that we can yet today even conceive?!

How many of these officials have run opposed in the past? Apparently the Rekietas weren't funding the Sheriff last term, but what about the DA? Are judges elected in MN?

How much money would we need to set up a PAC? I'm thinking, Citizens for A Transparent and Open Kandiyohi - CATOK.

All these elected officials need to be run out of office, possibly tarred and feathered on the way out (metaphorically, unless it's still legal- IDK, MN has some dumb laws). The only thing these kind of small town Andy Griffiths respond to is getting removed from their cushy jobs, on the taxpayer's dime no less.
