Two 8-month-old pit bulls that were loose in Nanaimo attacked several children, severely injuring at least one. Other people that came to aid the children were also injured.

The children were playing in a yard at the house of one of their friends. The dogs were from somewhere else in the neighborhood and had been cited for being at large previously.

One of the owners of the dogs came and got the dogs but did not stick around. The news interviewed the other owner, a Dangerhair that looked to be in her late 40s or early 50s. While she was devastated at what her dogs had done, she said to the reporter, "People are saying, look at this from the prospective of a parent, well, these dogs are my kids, too," and then she broke down crying.

It was later reported both dogs were euthanized, as there have been other incidents prior to this one, and due to the severity of the injuries the one particular child sustained.

To the dangerhair dog owner I would have to say, "If these dogs were your KIDS, you did a lousy job of raising them. Thank heavens you didn't spawn any of your own."

We got to the case of a boss after seeing an interview with Dr. David Dadia after the unfortunate event with the baby, in which he said that all farms are full and as a result it is possible for the boss to be euthanized.
We decided not to deal right now where the boss will be, but to make sure that he doesn't fall asleep.
That's why our farm exists.
So far, no organization besides us, has applied to take him in.
And we're the only ones, against all the harsh criticism we received when we stood next to a boss.
That we acted day after day, including legal proceedings, to prevent his death,
And thanks to the petition we submitted, Boss is not going to sleep.
At the moment, I have no idea which association will accept him, but I really hope that the intervention of those people, who opened their eyes to us for standing by him, he will not find himself locked in a tight cage for the rest of his life.
It is important for me to note that despite all the demands (which in my opinion were very exaggerated) in order to get Boss on our farm, we still performed and stood by all and saw only the good in the dog.
To our point of view, if the boss doesn't fall asleep, we have reached a very big achievement.
Most of the citizens of israel are in favor of saving the boss and we thank for that.
The last thing that is left is to make sure that a suitable organization accepts him and allows him good conditions just like we could give.
This will be my last post on the subject.
I think that all these years and even now I have always proven that I speak the truth even if it is hard for others to hear.
I keep hearing people say I'm inciting.
I've never spoken badly of any association, and I certainly haven't tried to put my foot on it.
Ultimately we are all here for the animals.
I ask that everyone mind themselves, in their own affairs, and not interfere with my life's mission, to save the animals.
And it's a pity that all this comes at their expense.

Coyotes are also very inquisitive and will test things to see how they react. I think adding those genetics into the mix would make the abomination more clever than it has any right ought to be.

There is no comparison between wolves and coyotes. Wolves are far more powerful intelligent and aggressive. Think of all the culture fears of wolves around the world vs the cultural perceptions of coyotes who are just seen as tricksters or spirit guides.

It goes without saying that crossing the cunning, power, and independence of a true wolf with the homicidal tendencies of a pit is just asking for trouble. Its a possible Hannibal Lecter of dogs vs a violent meth addict for coyote crosses.

It’s utterly shameful that animal activists have spent so much precious time and funds saving a baby murdering dog. The same thing happened in Italy last year. As an animal activist myself it’s completely embarrassing and such terrible optics.

All animals are innocent and the pit bull was just doing as it was designed to do. However, euthanasia isn’t a punishment, but a necessity because society doesn’t have resources to safely look after violently deranged domestic carnivores.

At least it sounds like “Boss” will be living in a facility rather than adopted out to naive bleeding hearts. But still, staff and vets will have to deal with him, putting their lives at risk, which is unethical - especially for those that will handle him daily.

And they will have to keep him away from other dogs and ensure he’s never, ever exposed to child visitors or has the chance to escape, which I doubt they will be rigorous about.

At some point, “Boss” will definitely maul someone or something else, because of their decision to keep an incurably violent dog alive.

Closest I've ever came to drawing my gun was last year when I was backpacking. My group turned a bend into a shelter area, and there was an unleashed shitbull like 10 feet away growling at us. I hate when they bring up small dogs. "I've met more aggressive chihuahuas than pibbles!"
I was bit by a chihuahua on my calf and it hurts way, way more than you would think, especially if you didn't see it coming. Difference is the chihuahua left a scar that's barely noticeable now. If a pit had done the same, my calf muscle would be gone. Chihuahuas are able to be "more aggressive" because their aggression doesn't end in death or permanent disfigurement.

Retards don't know how fast dogs breed, and how fast generations change in their lifetime due to backyard breeding. When she was a kid, chances were the family pitbull was more docile than it would've been now if she were to get a new one because it didn't yet (possibly) have a fucked up genetic line.

A 1-year-old girl was mauled to death by her family’s pit bull as her mom desperately tried to save her, according to officials in Ohio.

The pet pit suddenly lunged at baby Blakely Blosser when her mom bent over to pick up laundry at their home in Dover Township last Wednesday, officials told WOIO.

The mom desperately tried to stop the attack while also trying to call 911 — but by the time she spoke to a dispatcher, her daughter was dead, Tuscarawas County Sheriff Orvis L. Campbell said.

Blakely Blosser was killed by her family’s pit bull last week.

“Her mother clearly put up a fight — she had defensive wounds trying to get the dog’s jaws open,” Campbell said.


“I can’t imagine a worse nightmare” for the mother, he added.

“It was about as terrible an ordeal as we’ve come across in a long time.”

Blakley was found dead with bite wounds to her face and throat, according to officials, who said she died almost immediately.

The mother told police the dog did not have a history of attacking humans — but had shown aggression to other dogs, according to Campbell.

The father, who was not home at the time, later put down the killer dog, he said.

Blakely died almost immediately after the attack, officials said.

The baby’s father later euthanized the dog.
Family members identified Blakely in a heartbreaking obituary.

“Her joyful essence shone brightest when she was playing with her brother. Their bond was pure and filled with laughter, offering moments of joy that will forever reverberate in the hearts of our family,” loved ones shared.
