Nebraska football: The most compelling storylines on the Huskers' Big Ten lineup

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is launching an internal investigation after a video circulating on social media appeared to show a man forcibly removed from a vehicle and punched by police officers during a February traffic stop.
The video, posted on social media early Sunday, shows a traffic stop that police said occurred Feb. 19, 2025.

In the video, the driver claims a police officer pulled him over because his headlights were not on. The man notes that it was not raining and "multiple" other drivers didn't have their headlights on.
The video appears to have been taken when there was still light outside.

It appears the driver is talking to an officer by the passenger-side window, who cannot be seen in the video. That officer is heard saying, "It doesn't matter, you're still required to have headlights on."
The driver responds: "Can you pull that law up?" The officer then says, "Yeah, when you step out of the car, I will."

The driver is then heard saying, "Can you call your supervisor?" The officer says, "Huh," and the driver repeats, "Can you call your supervisor?"
The officer, who is out of frame, says, "Alright, go for it." Then, another officer standing outside the driver's window punches the driver's side window until it shatters. That officer then yells, "Exit the vehicle now," and repeats the phrase, and punches the driver in the head. The officer then asks the driver to "Show me your hands."

The driver, still seated, replies, "Here," with his hands raised. The driver then asks, "What is your reason, sir?" An officer then pulls the driver from his seat and out of the vehicle. An officer is heard saying, "Step out."
At least five officers are seen in the video at this point, gathering around the driver. An officer grabs the driver while saying, "Get on the ground" and "Stop fighting." One officer is seen grabbing the driver's head and then punching him in the chin before the driver is forced to the ground.

This portion of the incident, when the man is on the ground, was not captured in the video. However, the driver and the officers can be heard arguing.
One officer can be heard saying, "Stop fighting," "Hands behind your back," "Stop resisting," and "What's wrong with you?"
The driver is heard saying, "What do you mean, I was putting my hands behind my back," before asking, "What's going on, man?" An officer replies, "You're under arrest, that's what's going on."

As the driver is being placed in handcuffs, an officer can be heard saying the driver had marijuana in his right pocket.
An officer is then seen ending the video moments later.
Hours after the video was posted on social media, it received thousands of views and comments.
Sunday afternoon, Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters released the following statement:

A JSO spokesperson told First Coast News the agency is unaware of any filed complaint matching the video description.
Additionally, State Rep. Angie Nixon posted on social media about the video Sunday, saying she reached out to the sheriff's office to meet about the incident.

First Coast News has reached out to the user who posted the video, and we are still waiting to hear back. First Coast News is also working to identify the driver in the video.
No additional information about the incident has been released at this time.

So was the window smasher the supervisor?

I'm not overly familiar with this but 5 officers sounds overkill for a traffic stop. How long was he refusing to get out of the car before this lot arrived or were there multiple police vehicles targeting his car for a specific reason?
I don't know about this one but if you have 5 cars surrounding you, some serious shit went down before you pulled over or they were there for a long time. He was probably repeating the same thing for the hundredth time before that video was recorded. He also wanted more cops on scene by asking for a supervisor.

That was a love tap. Nigger didn't even wince. You get hit like that by your dad when he's trying not to leave a bruise.
At any rate, when you don't cooperate peacefully at a traffic stop then cops break your window and drag you out. If they need to pacify you with a beating to put cuffs on you, they would and should. If that policy doesn't agree with blacks, then they should take it up with the niggers who have pulled guns and knives. Shouldn't matter if you tape it or cry that you can't breeve.

He can claim it wasn't raining all he wants, but anyone with the slightest bit of deductive reasoning can tell he's lying. Look at the drops of rain visible on top of the sunroof. The windows of the car are also fogged up because it was raining outside. If you've ever lived in Florida, you've experienced this during/immediately after a rain shower when you roll down a window.

edit: Jacksonville weather that day, from the airport weather station.
yeah, but also sometimes it can be just sprinkling on and off all day. The letter of the law is rain means lights on, but if its barely raining off and on all day, the cops should be giving some leniency.

I would like more detail as to why he was pulled over, if it was just for the headlights, thats ridiculous, but if he was driving like a jackass, then thats a different story.

Until we have more evidence I'm siding with the driver on this one. I could be entirley wrong, and the driver was bix nood'ing all over the place before the cameras turned on, so the onus is on the police to post the body cam footage.

I'm honestly conflicted on this story. I've seen bodycam footage where the suspects/alleged escalate simple detainments or traffic stops to arrests and felonies because of their belligerent, non-compliance behavior. Typically, the cops treat them as respectful as possible.

Now, there do exist cops that instigate aggression TO have civilians lash out for a "justified" reason to initate force. Again, there isn't enough from this story and video to not jump straight to conclusions. Of course, police are expected to conduct themselves appropriately and tactful. A square punch in the face without prior aggression is plain battery and violence.

Why do they ALWAYS ask for a supervisor? I am almost certain that in every case the supervisor will back up the officer they supervise. So why do they do it?
Because in many cases, chief/supervisor/CO has sided with the faggots being stopped. Same reason so many niggers immediately started screaming "I caint breef!" After St. Floyd of Fent. They think these are magic words that will absolve them of any wrong doing and get them out of trouble, and hopefully onto payday.

It really depends on how long this had been going on and how many officers there are per car (some areas are 2/car, and sometimes even if it's 1/car, a trainee/FTO combination means 2 per some cars), because a less than cooperative driver is always going to get backup called and the longer the driver isn't cooperative the more cops are likely to trickle in from the surrounding area.

Cops, especially those that deal with niggers of all stripes and colors likely to try evading cops or fighting on a regular basis, will err on the side of overwhelming force when available, though "overwhelming" clearly also describes officer 3-scoops waistline as well which isn't helping.

>Refuses to roll down window
>Claims other people are breaking the law too
>Refuses to step out of the car
>Wants to argue the law on the side of the road
>Gets punched in the face while trying to pull away from the police

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

It's been my experience that you are more likely to get out of traffic stops by playing dumb and compliant than by playing street preacher-cum-jailhouse lawyer.

Man was very aggressive from the start and refused to step out. Cop pulled him over for no fucking reason it wasn't raining, guessing it was a fishing expedition for drugs. He also gets beat for not putting his hands behind his back while one is behind his back and not moving and he is trying to move the other one there.
