No. No. No. No. No.
This shit is how the UK has a fuck-ton of Pakis. If you give immigrants/illegals the means to stay forever, even without citizenship, they'll take it, even if it means forgoing everything else. Despite this bill being partisan though, I don't think it'll pass. It's asking for $70 billion dollars of bullshit on top of giving illegals a way to stay at the cost of 7k over 7 years (which can be deducted from the health insurance they shouldn't have), which is uber fucked. Libertarians won't pass want it passed due to the cash injection and the MAGA-crowd won't want it passed because it gives a way for illegals to be absolved of their crime. Also it's being proposed by a bunch of Mexicans totally not showing preference for their own group no siree there's no such thing as in-group preference, that's a racist conspiracy theory.
Since people are still talking about religion... in Leviticus is says a man shall not lie with another man, but it says man, not women. So does that mean being a lesbian is not a sin?
If you wanted to be especially facetious, you could make the argument that it's specifically condemning bisexuality and/or MMF threesomes.
13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
The top quote comes from Leviticus 20 whilst the bottom comes from Leviticus 18. 18 describes the crimes where 20 describes the punishment for said crimes. The "their blood shall be upon them" means that it's not a murder essentially if you kill someone who has committed the crime.

have actually read the 95 Theses do you think? I'm pretty sure most of the time it's none of them. And it's the same thing with a lot of modern political issues, just look at this thread over the last two weeks. [. . .] People have been trained to trust secondary sources and never actually read the primary ones and AI is just going to make that worse.
To add insult to injury, you can go on online book retailers and purchase reprints of these books to read for yourself. You could also go to your local library or used book stores to find them. People can just be resourceful for once, not just believe what their content creators and Twitter/Facebook buddies tell them.

Here are related sections in libraries via Dewey Decimal:
  • 200s - Religion
  • 300s - Social Sciences
  • 800s - Literature
  • 900s - History

But still, what prevents God from creating a world that has free will AND no sin?
Sin is inherent to free will. In the before times prior to current year we used to lynch rapists and execute murderers. The people with too much natural goodwill towards others bought into the deceptive nice and friendly sounding words of the communist demons allowing them to gain positions of power. Now rapists and murderers are allowed to roam free whereas people who defend themselves from them are tried criminally.

The top quote refers to a specific kind of wartime rape common in the middle east where winning soldiers were raping losing soldiers as a form of humiliation. The bottom quote refers to homosexuality as practiced in Egypt and in the wider middle east nowadays where only the bottom is gay and the top is straight.

Also the book of kohelet/Ecclesiastes is my personal favorite

The book of Job might be the worlds first cosmic horror story. Literally just two cosmic entities beyond the realms of human reckoning or understanding just absolutely destroying a dude and murdering his family and friends just to settle a personal bet. There is nothing he can do to save himself or prevent it, he must simply accept that beings greater than he will ever fathom picked him for suffering for what amounts to no reason.
Job gets a happy ending at least, so there is that.

Job 42 (The Final Chapter):
1 Then Job answered the Lord and said: 2 "I know that You can do everything, And that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You. 3 You asked, 'Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge?' Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. 4 Listen, please, and let me speak; You said, 'I will question you, and you shall answer Me.' 5 "I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear, But now my eye sees You. 6 Therefore I abhor myself, And repent in dust and ashes."

7 And so it was, after the Lord had spoken these words to Job, that the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, "My wrath is aroused against you and your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has. 8 Now therefore, take for yourselves seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and My servant Job shall pray for you. For I will accept him, lest I deal with you according to your folly; because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has." 9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as the Lord commanded them; for the Lord had accepted Job.

The Restoration of Job's Prosperity

10 And the Lord restored Job's losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. 11 Then all his brothers, all his sisters, and all those who had been his acquaintances before, came to him and ate food with him in his house; and they consoled him and comforted him for all the adversity that the Lord had brought upon him. Each one gave him a piece of silver and each a ring of gold. 12 Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys. 13 He also had seven sons and three daughters. 14 And he called the name of the first Jemimah, the name of the second Keziah, and the name of the third Keren-Happuch. 15 In all the land were found no women so beautiful as the daughters of Job; and their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers. 16 After this Job lived one hundred and forty years, and saw his children and grandchildren for four generations. 17 So Job died, old and full of days.

If God is all powerful (capable of doing anything) then He would be able to make it such that free will does not require sin.
Then it wouldn't be free will.
Your perfect existence would be a world of only phytoplankton. Nothing bad can happen since you aren't killing other things to keep yourself alive and nothing will kill you to stay alive. The worst thing that can happen would be you washing up and land and drying out.

I don't think every human born has a soul some are empty vessels that explains black people better than some conspiracy theory about them being tained by evil. I do however agree with null that there is no niggers in heaven.
The simpler explanation is that niggers aren't human.

All this talk about whether God is real or not and I’ve still yet to see an explanation for the Big Bang. God creating everything for us makes more sense than an infinitely dense and hot ball of matter that is all of what the universe just hanging out until it fucking explodes. How did this ball of material get there? Why did it explode?

This is blasphemous. Christ taught God made people male and female, and that is the only acceptable form of marriage, a man and a woman. The moral standards of the Bible apply to everyone the same. There are spots throughout the New Testament condemning homosexual acts.

Re: What people say about the Bible's teaching on sexuality, how mad they get - if people want to throw out what Leviticus says because of the secular world's errant views on homosexuality, then they need to realize that Leviticus also speaks out against incest, bestiality, and necrophilia as well - all four acts are sinful. Would these people I'm describing think those things are okay as well?

Somehow the first second just happened even though time did not exist prior to the big bang.
Also the laws of physics weren't in place yet to let this all happen.
Yes, this is the certain origin of reality atheists follow.

This is why I'm agnostic.
Sorry for having the centrist/fence-sitting belief.
Sorry, not sorry.

I've often wondered if the universe was able to beat the odds and coalesce all matter in the universe into a single point in spite of entropy. It sounds stupid, I know, but if the universe has existed since time immemorial (which I don't know if it has, admittedly), then theoretically it would be possible, given enough time, no? monkeys-on-a-typewriter sort of deal.

And none of this is to discredit the possibility of God, FWIW, I just find it interesting to speculate on. It's fascinating to think about.

Literally no reason provided. (Spoiler: No reason will ever be provided by theists in regards to book of Job)

Guess god can resurrect Job's family now or something.
You do realize that the lack of a reason is actually the entire point of Job, right?
Quite literally the entire book is Job in a debate with his friends who assume he committed some sin and Job claims he didn’t, only for it to end with god coming in and making it clear that mortals can never understand his reasoning and should never attempt to understand his reasoning because that’s not the role of mortals.
The book’s grander themes is to teach people that sometimes bad things happen to good people, and good things happen to bad people, but that doesn’t mean god is blessing one or forsaking another, and that sometimes suffering is just a part of life, but that doesn’t mean it’s your fault.
Without Job, people would left to believe that every single time something bad happened to them, it was god punishing them, which would destroy people mentally as they’d think every single horror is entirely their fault when it usually isn’t.
