Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
As a small update, the Ukrainians allocated more resources than most could predict into taking Kindrativka; this is likely because they are still focused on doing a second Kursk incursion despite what is happening in Pokrovsk. I now hold the belief that the Russians will pull back into more defensive positions and build up fortifications in preparation for a second incursion while also allocating more forces into securing Yunakivka and Sadky. Ukraine is conducting these attacks because they're trying to make it seem as if they're capable of fighting to Trump and give themselves some level of leverage in future negotiations around things such as ceasesfires.
Putin meets Xi on September, 3. Xi has issued an official invitation to Trump to join, Trump hasn't responded yet
Do we know what this meeting is about?

They trade torque for power. Kind of exact opposite you want in a car.
Realistically, they aren't even that great in power, just don't have torque and the only merit is power in useless rpm's.
Rotax 912, 60kg 59,5kW, 582, 50kg and 48kW
4 banger has better power to weight ratio and it can run unleaded.
The point is that they’re super easy to maintain. Yeah, they don’t last as long as a four banger, but we are talking about a handful of moving parts that you can easily and cheaply replace.

I’m just saying… When the zombie/gypsie/nigger/whatever apocalypse strikes and the shit hits the fan, you’ll be walking for hundreds of miles trying to find a mechanic who’ll take canned food for fixing your timing chain, while I will be zooming by in a trabbie running on a mix of rubbing alcohol, ethanol and 1/32 oil.

Kurchatov, Korolev and Stalin live on in you!

Fucking based lmao!

Russya is kinda amazing that it can start making stuff if it really wants to

I would just run on wood gas. Old V8't, even flat heads are perfect for this.
100HP petrol engine is 20HP wood gas engine on a good day and maybe 10HP as a steam engine.
You are unlikely to do alcohol distillation rich enough that you could use it as fuel.
1. Regular ethanol doesn't mix with oil
2. Ethanol eats aluminum (carb and engine)

If you don't change the oil and just add what little fresh you can, engine will grenade itself at 40kmiles which is more than you can expect in abocalypse. Timing belt would last for another 100k tho. More than civilization.
Only real substitute for petrol would be wood turpentine. That's about it.
Electric cars may have an advantage over this. Granted, you have to have your own power generation (solar). But the yield to effort invested is immense.

Granted, if that happens, where are you even gonna go. To the food market?

I've wrote about a year or so ago how French loosing it's not so secret African Colonies would would hurt them badly as they would not be able to anymore masquerade their Fugazi economy. And not be able to get cheap natural resources and next to free gold extraction.

Well......

French Premier Says Country on Cliff Edge as Debt Soars

France is on the cliff edge as its debt continues to balloon, Prime Minister Francois Bayrou said on Tuesday as he set out plans to sharply narrow the budget deficit next year.
"We have a duty to take responsibility, we're at the last stop before the cliff," the premier said Tuesday at a press conference in Paris to outline his fiscal strategy. "We have become addicted to public spending."
He added that France's debt is increasing by €5,000 ($5,815) every second, and that if nothing is done, interest costs will soar to €100 billion in 2029.
Bayrou has brought forward the presentation of the budget, usually in September, to gain time to persuade lawmakers to accept unpopular spending cuts and tax hikes. His predecessor was pushed out last December in a parliamentary fight over 2025 fiscal plans.
The centrist premier is also under pressure from investors who have dumped French bonds over the last year amid deteriorating public finances and political uncertainty.
France's borrowing costs have increased relative to peers and the country now has the widest budget deficit in the euro area. Bayrou has pledged to narrow the gap to 4.6% of economic output in 2026 from 5.4% this year and 5.8% in 2024.

i expected bigger cracks by now. But i suppose as one of the leading EU states there's a serious safety margin in expenditures and subsidies for various sectors of economy. But collapse it will in my opinion. The frogs and EU are not competitive on the global market, nor self-sufficient, etc, etc.

It's just a matter of time now.

The really amazing thing is that what you see is like a tenth of the production capacity that used to be there.

So much was lost or sold for scraps when the USSR collapsed, but they held on to a few of their industrial facilities, design bureaus etc. and managed to make them survive. And later on re-equipped with modern machinery.

(The USSR made some machine tools, but given that it was a communist command economy with full employment, they prioritized semi manual labor over machine tools.)

The MiG 21 that they made (which when equipped with modern avionics is a competent plane today) were mass produced on such a massive scale that it was cheaper to make than a tank.

But yeah. Even with all that they’ve lost, they’re still able to massively out produce the west.

USSR measuring equipment was top class though, my old machinist teacher would crow about how well his old soviet micrometer set held up.
If anyone is interested in peak Soviet mechanical devices, I can recommend an automatic or manual watch.

(Vostok, Pobeda, Poljot)

Especially the Poljot is amazing. The basis is a Swiss Valjeux chronograph movement that they further developed.

(They make some cool mechanical 24 hour watches as well)

If you want something more digital, they made digital quartz watches in Belarus SSR called ELEKTRONIKA.

The thing looks like something out of Blade Runner.

Ukraine L. - Imagine trying to ramp up nationalism for the sake of the war effort by lionizing a guy who was responsible for the acceleration of a destructive force which ravaged their people via famine and purges.
That's the western story. They themselves don't know that.

Pretty incredible these retards are still importing the whole middle east while on verge of bankruptcy.
Borrowing more to give gibs to browns is just insane.

Anyways, it’s a shame we don’t have anything like the Trabant.
Cars like that are effectively outlawed thanks to emissions, crash and passenger safety regulations and a plentora of forced sensor integration. It's forced, politicially induced planned obsolescence.
Ikr? And where the f are the kids father? Did she just sit in the jungle and wait to seduce some Russian backpacker?!
Probably some sort of clandestine commune living in the back country with minimal contact to the local wildlife (Pajeets).

total khokhol death I assume
:optimistic: but I could see Pokrovsk falling. Right now Ukraine is managing to trade blows with Russia but considering how massive their loses have been especially last month, I think they'll run out of steam. It's also because they're trying to save what they can for another counteroffensyiv in kursk.

In all seriousness I would say pokrovsk falling is pretty much a given for the offensive. Other than that its probs just going to be fighting around/the capture of konstantikyvka, kherson and siversk.

Kherson is gonna have to happen later on, if the Russians can keep up the pressure on the other fronts then Kherson could be vulnerable to a future assault due to the Ukrainians pulling forces off that area. The 30,000 North Korean soldiers coming it would help Russia be able to conduct such an operation. I could see the number of North Koreans sent to Ukraine going up even more if Russia keeps feeding the country food and oil.

Speaking of Geraniums, a Ukrainian managed to get a hold of a relatively intact version, and published his findings.

What’s notable is the Iranian 8 unit transmitter/reciever module that acts as protection against EW. (At the beginning of the war, the Geran had 1 or 2 of these. Now, some Russian Kometa 2 modules carries 12, even though 8 of these practically make them invulnerable to electronic attacks from the ground.) That the unit is Iranian, likely means that Russia has been sharing know how with Iran concerning future development of the Geran. And is likely cheaper than a Russian Kometa 2 unit.

The modularity is also interesting. The Geran he found was a more advanced one featuring AI target recognition. Most Gerans are more simple devices, and it’s not known whether these more advanced units are sent to attack particular targets, or whether they act as brains for a swarm of less advanced Geran, in the same way that some Geran act as air repeaters for a radio signal from where they were launched.

Now given that this is very much a game of cat and mouse, it’s not certain whether this Geran is the peak of current development, or a model developed six months ago.

EDIT: SERBS SHOT DOWN A B2!!!

Interesting article/conspiracy theory. That isn’t entirely unfounded. Good read!
